6-week update

Wow, time is flying by! Little Lu turned 6-weeks old yesterday. She is doing fabulously! The last few weeks have been really fun, as she is getting more and more social. She really seems to recognize mom, dad, and even Gangy and Pop-Pop (Grandma and Grandpa Grabowsky). She gives lots of smiles, makes tons of funny faces, and "talks" to us a lot when she is in a good mood. She even talks to her monkey that sits next to her changing table- it seems she likes him more than any of us!

Big smiles for Pop-Pop

We went on her first walk out to Ellwood with Cristina, Melody, Cory G, Jessica, and the doggies this week, and another beautiful sunset walk too!

For New Years Eve, we went to the Fuzzy Wuzzy Hogmany Ball at Corey and Gillian's house, where Lu got to meet lots of the Santa Barbara crew for the first time. She slept through the entire party, but still managed to make lots of new friends!

That's about all the news for now- we are just enjoying lots of family time at home for the most part. Every week seems to get easier and easier (with a few fussy days, of course), and we are settling in very nicely!

Go Broncos! (Yes, I know they lost, but what a cute cheerleader anyway!)

Happy New Year to everyone!

Great to see mom, pop, & lulu doing well in Santa Barbara. Leigh Ann, I've really enjoyed watching your belly and now baby grow. What an exciting household you all must have in beautiful Santa Barbara. I think about you guys every time I'm out plowing snow... We have record amounts of snowfall in Chitown this year, yikes.
