Long Time

Duuuude. This is taking forever. I realize the due date isn't technically till the 16th (Sunday), but we're ready. Let's go! Poor Lan, she wants her body back. Overall in good spirits, but if we can get this kid out now that'd be great.

Lan's been starting to dabble in the "natural inducements" category. She's going for walks, drinking teas, and mentally willing the girl out. To no avail.

I've decided maybe its time to start yelling at the kid. Not in a mean way, but to make sure its loud enough that she can hear me tell her its time. Plus it'll give me some practice for later in life when she dates that louse with the freakish hair cut and bad attitude.

Will try other strategies. Maybe we'll go see the new Bond flick this weekend, or try to scare Lan by watching the Broncos play Atlanta. The key there is for the game to lull her into a peaceful slumber, from which I will startle her when Jay Cutler throws another bonehead interception or Dre Bly gets burned on the deep pass. Its a devious plan but will hopefully work.

In the meantime she's pretty bored. My sister (get well quick!!!) had some good ideas for passing the time and we got a visit - albeit brief - from my brother. Other than that, though, its been pretty mellow around these parts. Weather's pretty rad, though! As our buddy, Paul, says: "Looks like that Paradise Tax is finally paying for itself."

Anyone out there have any homeopathic solutions for getting this watita out? We're ready!
