4- month update!

Sorry it has been awhile, but we have been busy! On Saturday Lucy turned 4 months old- wow! It's crazy how fast the time is going. She is doing great, and we had a very fun-filled month. This picture was taken on her 4-month birthday...

In late February, Lucy took her first plane ride out to Colorado! She was very well-behaved on the airplane, even on the horrendously long layover in Phoenix- she slept almost the entire way!

It was a great trip. First, we spent some time in Denver visiting the Margolins. She got to meet so many family members for the first time! We also got to meet a new family member for the first time- Lucy's cousin Kennedy, who is only 1 month older than Lucy.

After Denver, we met the whole Grabowsky clan in Steamboat to celebrate Katie's 30th birthday! It was really great to be back in Steamboat, where Rick and I met. We even got 2 fabulous days of skiing/snowboarding in while Gangy (Grandma) and "Gu-Ter" (Great Uncle Terry) babysat Lucy and cousin Sydney. Lucy even got to take her first gondola ride up the mountain!

Back down in Denver, we visited with family some more, and we had our first zoo adventure with Bubbe and Kennedy (although the girls had no idea what was going on, we enjoyed ourselves!). Lucy also got to meet lots of our Colorado friends for the first time (Conrad, Kim, Jason, Jen, Ethan, Mimi, Joe, and little Julia)!

Back in Santa Barbara, Lucy got a special visitor- Amy came to visit from Napa! We had a fun girls weekend eating, shopping, and taking long walks while Rick was busy with his boys fantasy baseball draft weekend. Thanks so much to Amy for all of her help and for making us all the fabulous dinners!

Within a week of her first trip to the zoo in Denver, we joined our mom's group for a trip to the Santa Barbara Zoo! We fed the giraffes with our friend Erica and her baby Lucy!

The Lucy Brigade meets Ms. Giraffe!

One of the most fun developments this month was that Lucy started laughing! There were little mini-chuckles before, but now it's the real thing. Very fun.

Well that's about all for now. We hope everyone is well and enjoying the beginning of spring!

The Margowsky's look fantabulous. I'm counting the days down, until we meet again and Lucy for the first time. I'm a lucky man and my fiance will melt when she meets all of you. Wait, when are we getting together? Flights from Chitown to Denver are cheap in the summertime. Brew Fest? Leigh Ann, I emailed Rick the April issue of Ladscape Architectue magazine. Check it out, there's an impressive eco spread on UCSB watershed mgmt. "If you build it they will come" Moonlight Grahm
